Student: When a dead person ascends after forty-nine days, does that mean that the qi comes from the physical corpse?
Li Shifu(Five Immortals Temple): After forty-nine days the field of that person is gone. It is accumulated and slowly disperses. When you die in your room, but it is not a normal death, there is hatred. If many things are left undone, the place is in trouble. You must inquire about previous residents and investigate about the history of the house. Ask the elder people. Ask if people were buried there or killed. You would not build on the site of a concentration camp site.
